Filter a Grid
Filtering the data contained in a grid provides a powerful way to focus on a particular set of codes, items, reports, etc. Some grids include a direct link to the grid filter below the grid and/or empty fields below the grid header for filtering on selected columns.
To apply an exact match or "begins with" filter on a page that contains the empty field or textbox, simply type all or part of the code in the empty textbox and click the filter to the right of the field (or pause a moment and the filter will be applied automatically).

Notice that the applied filter is displayed as text below the grid as well. The filter can be cleared by clicking the "Clear" link at the bottom right of the grid, unchecking the checkbox to the left of the filter text at the bottom left of the grid, by deleting the textbox contents below the header, or by clicking the Cancel button (.png){kind=small}
) to the left of the textbox below the header.
